that particular size of CMU block comes about 100/pallet. Home depot/lowes, or any builders yard should be able to drop them off for ya.

Are you building an actual retaining wall (to hold dirt back) or just something low and cosmetic?

I don't know what you do for living, my questions are meant to help you and keep you from having to do this again.

How tall you looking to go? At the top of the wall will grade remain level or slope upwards?

Depending on height you may need to go to concrete, and even then I'm not sure I've ever seen a modern retaining wall made out of the cmu I think you are trying to use. If it's low enough with level grade you could try that split face block with the lip on the backside. Are you planning on a concrete footing with continuous rebar through the block as well as grouting the block solid?

Another thing...unless I am mistaken, most standards were changed a number of years ago to a limit of 2' high. Anything above that might require engineering. Make sure you are up to speed with your local codes. Pain the the arse I know, and better safe then sorry.

Have 3000 psi footing with rebar. It is a two foot (3 blocks hight) wall with a level slope. I am filling the middle of the block with concrete as well.
