    101 Photo Radar 76 in a 65

Anyone received a letter from Angel Enterprises? They say to not pay the ticket and send them $65 and they will tell you how to deal with it. Guys name is Joe Geremia Jr.
    Says after recieving his info and following his instructions you will;

    Not pay the fine

Not have any points or demerits posted to your driving record

You insurance company will never have the knowledge that a citation was ever issued.

yeah i have recieved that letter before but I have never done it. Luckily both of my photo radar tickets were when I had my camaro and it was registered under my dads name so he just sent back the letter with a copy of his license showing that it was not him driving. By law they cannot force you to tell them who was driving and they just dismiss the ticket. That is why I have my wife's car registered under my name and my car registered under her name. Check google there are probably a few sites that tell you how to get out of photo radar tickets.

I have heard of this, but I don't know what the validity of it is.

Did you get snagged? When? When we all got flashed at the Rumble, none of us got a ticket from that and it was right about 76mph.

Why are speeders allowed an 11 mph buffer?
The 10 MPH margin is intended to address language in the Arizona Revised Statutes related to speed offenses that defines, "...reasonable and prudent..." speed. It also provides a reasonable margin of error/grace for inaccurate vehicle speedometers and short-term lapses of attention by otherwise law-abiding and generally cautious drivers.
Our primary focus is on intentional, aggressive and negligent drivers. Statistics tell us that at 10 MPH over the posted speed limit, the probability of being involved in a crash doubles. However, at 20 MPH over, the probability increases to 11 times greater. We are trying to change the driving behavior of those persons who are most likely to cause crashes.

How did Angel Enterprises get my name and address from the City of Scottsdale?
All citations filed with the court are public record. Pursuant to Rule 123, the court is required to provide all requested records. Angel Enterprises purchases this information from the court on a regular basis. Unfortunately, we are unable to deny these requests.

Best one I heard of, was a guy receiving a picture of his car and the radar read out, along with the fine....

....So he sent them a picture of the cash to cover the fine.

    Talking According to my math

65 MPH, the posted speed, and 11 MPH Buffer adds up to 76 MPH, and that's what you were sent a ticket for????? That doesn't make sense, 76 MPH is the MAX MPH allowed. The ticket should only be issued for 77 MPH and higher.

Hal, I got a ticket in Mesa two weeks ago for the flash reflecting cover over my plate. I researched the ARS revised statute 28-XXXX, and went to Mesa courts to argue the point. The girl I spoke to said, "You know any officer of the court has the power to void that ticket, if you prove to me you have removed the cover" I said, how do I prove it. She said "Bring me a photo of the rear of your car with the cover removed, and I will wipe out the $116.00 fine" Well I had it off long enough to shoot 3 photos. Fine Gone!!!

I'd go talk to someone at the courts, 76 MPH is allowed, 77 MPH is not.

The buffer is 10MPH, not 11. They explained that on the news when they were turning it back on.

Obviously, You know those things are completely legal.

Although I understand you not doing it, we should fight these charges. It's nothing but a way to sucker citizens into revenue for the city. The sooner people stand up for their rights, the sooner we quit getting BS charges.

    Exclamation Civil Disobedience

Every time I pass a photo radar camera (van or fixed camera) I lean on my horn. This is my protest. I figure if enough people followed suit, the people who live and/or work nearby will eventually get tired of all the noise and ask the city to move or remove the camera.

So, if YOU don't approve of the cameras let them know. Let the whole world know!!!
