    Warm Weather Temp CEL

Ok, now that we're in the summer months I'm getting the Temp CEL for my 180 degree stat every week or two when it was rare if I got one a month in the winter. W.T.F.!!!!!!!! This just renforces my whole philosophy regarding how the entire freakin universe is @ss backwards

I believe it would run hotter if it's sticking closed yes??

I'm just going to yank it out this weekend and be done with the hassle. The Predator tune is out and I'm just running it up and down Broward Blvd. to work anyhow.

I'm running the same exact thermostat and have never had a temp related code, somethings wrong somewhere in your cooling system.

Never had a single MIL with the NAPA 180° I ran for nearly 2 years. I've gotten 2 or 3 now with the 170° that's in the car, but still quite rare.

If you decide to go with 180* thermostat. Do your self a favor and use the Jet Brand. All though they cost a few bucks more than the garden variety type. I got mind through autotruck&toys.com I never had a problem with it...

I'm still thinking that any cooling problems would make the thing run hotter. I'm getting a CEL for the temp being too low (in the middle of freaking summer no less).

The temps in the car are right on the money. This tends to happen at 6:30am driving to work right after a rain when the ambient temp is a tick cooler.

Heck with it, I'm not in performance mode right now anyhow so it's coming out.

You might want to consider changing the Temp sensor. Could have gone bad. It's just a thought...
