    Tire size question!!!!

I need to buy some new tires for my ride sooner than I want to. Wanted to buy new tires and rims but not ready yet. I need to know if any has put on any 255/45/R18 on? I saw some g-force online which is the tire I already have. I am assuming that it is possible to put a 45 profile tire on there.

    Any help appreciated

    Thanks
    Andre

Biggest tire you can put on a stock rim is: 255x55x18 size.

A 255x45x18 size should fit with no problems...............

Yup Yup, what Bob said. I've got 255s Nittos and they are great, look much better than the stockers. Fill out well better and ride much better. Just be sure to adjust your speedo with a SC or Diablo if you go bigger, you'll be off by about 1 mph.

go for the 255/55/18's. 45 series will leave a big wheel gap. Check out the General Grabber UHP's on the Tire Rack, cheap , sticky as hell, look good and I running em in pretty deep snow no problem. Replaced the BFG's with them, no loss of performance, better wet!
