South Chapter (FLXC) - Caravan to the Shindig

[EDIT] Let me make it clear.....We (the South Chapter) are going to be meeting up at 6 AM at the West Palm Beach/Lake Worth Service Plaza—Palm Beach County (Milepost 94) then continue up from there to Wildwood [end of edit] THANKS!!!

We will meet up at the West Palm Beach Rest stop on the Turnpike(mile marker 94) at 6am. We will then need to meet up with the Florida State Trooper at the Fort Drum Service Plaza(mile marker 184) at 8am...he will wait no longer than 8:30am.....depending on when you leave, you will be escorted to the Okahumpka Service Plaza(mile marker 299) it should take you no more than 1h 38mins(115 miles) you should arrive between 9:30am and 10:00am the earlier you leave, the better.......

Okay folks. Here it is...The SOUTH Caravan thread.... As you can see (here) we are gonna be meeting up with the rest of the FLXC clan in Wildwood.

We are scheduled to meet at Wildwood at 9:30.....and then depart Wildwood at 10:30 (time for potty-breaks, Hemi-food, V6 food , DOUBLE espresso or three, etc). this will put us into Perry at about 2-3pm...Enough time to get settled into our rooms, etc. Then we hit the TRACK friday night!!!

After an exhaustive search (aka mapquest) the time for travel from Ft. Lauderdale to Wildwood is about 3 hours and 45 minutes. (I HOPE it doesn't take that long! ) SO...I figure we will leave at 6-ish am from the West Palm Beach Service plaza. Reason? One- the folks that are in West Palm don't have to drive DOWN just to go back up north. Second folks in west dade/broward may wanna take I-75 and the Sawgrass up and around to get on the Turnpike...and finally, this plaza has EVERYTHING!!

Wow......Seven that is a good number. BUT......
Lets see every Friday we have 20+ at Old Town, I know you guys/gals are in South Florida, but wouldn't you like to get out of town for a LONG weekend and have some fun?????

Lets see if by Friday we can have 10 at least confirmed from South Florida.
