I won't be attending any club activities. Seems my court date was on the 7 th and not the 9th like it looks like on the ticket. So now I have a bench warrant out for me, and I'm going to see the bailiff tomorrow.

is weird that you are telling us. do you finally had a lawyer? the one that i recomend you from the ticket clinic? and they dont sent you a leter or calling you remining you the day to be in court?
your family didn't know the day?
you need to think about your life man, you need more discipline, is a shame to see some one so young going that way

The ticket clinic told me that they needed more time to prepare. And I found out that it was Monday when I called the judge to ask for a postponement today.

So I think I'm pretty much skrewed.

Right now all I can think about is Stan from South Park saying "Dis-a-pwen."

I think I'm pretty far gone right now. It's taken me 5 min. to time this already.

Judges will tolerate almost anything but a no-show....hopefully you can talk fast and pay faster to clear this up....

I got a speeding and racing on highway ticket when I was 18 and I had my Mustang GT. I missed the first court date and then went in to the clerk of courts office the next day and just filled out a form that requested a reset on my court date.. I got a new date in the mail 3 weeks later and appeared in court 2 weeks after that.. No bench warrant for me?!??!

The kicker is that the officer that I got the ticket from (Davie PD) never showed when I finally got into court, I guess he got tired of waiting for me.. Dismissed!!! I ended up paying around $25 in court cost's..

Well, here in Oak Tree Choke Me, you have to write a formal letter to the judge requesting another court date. And I had my cousin call the bailiff, and they said there was a bench warrant out for me. So now it's up to the bailiff whether I get to slide or get locked up for 30 days.

at the end is gonna be good if you spend some time in jail, the worst part is the friking record.
when man is alone, deep in thinking, you mature a lot, revaluate your goals in life, start giving more value to your family, your parents, and puting your car in the right level it should be, as a piece of metal loosing value everyday.
Fun? yes, also dangerous and need experience to play with it

What a depressing place, nobody smiling in there but the judges & lawyers.
