    REAL Performance gains...

    So here it is...tax-time. Either your paying Tha Man , or yer modding your car - either way the money aint goin' in yer pocket!

    Well it *seems* like a BUNCH of guys down here in the deep South of FLA are really diving into the deep end of the pool!

    we've got Lou trying to break into the 10's....followed quickly by a list of guys spraying and camming(?) their cars...

    There are rumors/plans/ideas/etc of having a HUGE (or multiple) build-off's throughout the area. Indeed the South Chapter of the Florida LX Club is coming on STRONG!!! We've never been stronger or more unified !!! that's right! FLXC-South is gonna represent the strength at this years' SE Shindig fo' sho'!!

    SO.....if you guys in the Central Chapter wanna step up to the plate, and get with the performance mods.....you know what to do!! Take that tax refund (hopefully) and dump it into the car!!!

    Consider this a CHALLENGE!!!!

    heck Terry's got the FLXC covered in the North Chapter...so wuzzup!?!? All show and no go??

    Well your right...my tax return was in my bank account for all of about 2 hours before it went right back out to pay for the SRT seats!!!!
    Mods: 6.1 motor with PPP Ported Heads and 224/228 598/578 113LSA, stock tq converter, stock SRT headers with gutted cats, JBA 3in exhaust, LMI hammer design intake. The only 6.1 motor running a 2.82 rear.....Soon to be 3.06 gears.....Installs done by Afterhours Mopar Performance

    Last I checked. Mike aka DeafCharger was a Central Region Representative. So Mike go get them for us........

    Just kidding, actually there are some here also talking about some engine modifications and such. I know Trooper 80 just had some work done and has been "investigating" delving deeper into the engine.

    And I have heard rumor of some one else replacing a perfectly good engine.

    Hummmmm....we got a nice bright yellow banana that holds alot of trophies for cleanliness (OK so we have almost 50 trophies the trailer has been ordered), wonder just how many more we could gain with POWER too.

    We are the "show off Central group" we could never imagine going out of town or appearing without our trophies. Just kidding....
    And speed???, who needs speed.......well guess the 4 of us that came down together for the Pre Shindig-Shindig really aren't the right representatives to ask. We didn't even make it 1 mile on the turnpike before getting caught headed back.

    But thats another story I will allow others to ellaborate on. But I will say we weren't doing 141 mph.
