Possible Challenge in Lakeland - Drag Racing

LX Owners...
As many of you may remember, Mrs1HotWgn was working on trying to set up a Challenge, similar to what we have in South Florida for drag racing at Bradenton. Well, Bradenton has not been the most cooperative with the Corvette Challenge, due to low turnout. Bradenton, even when approached with additional Challenges that could be added, still did not respond favorably. Well, all hopes of a Challenge Series in Central Florida are not dead. I have just been contacted by the co-coordinator for the Central Florida Corvette Challenge and they are working on setting up a Challenge Series in Lakeland at Lakeland Motorsports Park. They need to know how many of you are interested in being part of a Mopar Challenge at LMP. I have asked for additional information and will post when I get it (admission pricing, dates, etc.). Right now, they need to get a list going of people that are interested. Please post here that you are interested...and please PM me your name and email address. The Corvette guys need the email address and name to show to LMP that this is real...and so they can contact you with dates and more specific information regarding the Challenges.
So...Central Florida...here is your chance again to get a Mopar Challenge going!!

Central Florida guys/gals...need a lot more people to want to do this for the Mopar Challenge in Lakeland to fly. 6 cars isn't enough. Remember, it is for fun, hang out/make new friends, and some time away from the house.

We got at least 30-40 here in the northeast that are DYING for tracktime and all that can be mustered for a challenge is 6?!?!

This is for real....the Corvette guys/gals really want this to happen. They are trying to generate interest in these Challenges for Corvettes, Mopars, F-Bodies and Mustangs. Come on gang...here is your chance to race in a safe environment. It is bracket racing, so you only need to run as hard as you want to. I will not be running this series, as I live in South Florida. There was a lot more talk about doing this in September/October, and a lot of people that were interested then have not said a word now. TTT....I am trying here...but not getting much response. Should I let the Corvette guys/gals know there isn't enough interest to bother starting a Challenge for Mopars in Central Florida? Please let me know. I am just trying to help out here, as I race in South Florida at Moroso.
