Open track event-road coarse @ Homestead April 26-27

I wanted to invite everyone to come out to our event. This is a road coarse high performance driving event (HPDE) hosted by Gold Coast PCA (Porsche Club of America). There will also be competition racing events hosted by PBOC Florida (Porsche BMW Owners Club). This is a two day event and there will be track action all weekend. This event is open to all types of cars, not only Porsches or BMW's. This event is free for spectators. At lunch time, you can drive your friends and family in your car on the road coarse behind a pace car. You will be able to run several "orderly" laps at a moderate speed.
This event will run on the 2.25 mile road coarse with the race cars using the 3-4 banking and the HPDE using the 10-11-12 infield.
At this event, you will be in the paddock with the cars, not out in the stands looking in. It is an awsome show and did I say it is FREE!
If you care to participate and run your car on the track (then it's not free), you must pre-register and an instructor will be assigned to you for the day/weekend. You will be given a short classroom instruction in the morning mostly to familarize you with the rules and regs, learn the flags, corner worker stations and so on. Then you will hit the track for several (usually 3-4) 30 minute sessions throughout the day. It is an awsome time guaranteed!

4/26/2008 - 4/27/2008 PBOC Races and Drivers Education with PCA Gold Coast Region at Homestead Miami Speedway in Homestead FL. This is a two-day event.

DRIVERS EDUCATION VENUES:

For This event ONLY, Drivers Education Registration is being handled by PCA Gold Coast Region. If you wish to instruct, drive in Super Solo, or Solo, or attend the school as a Novice, Intermediate or Advanced Student, then please go to:

Drivers Education for Novice, Intermediate and Advanced Students on Saturday and Sunday is available for $350. One day entry fee is $250. Instructor entry for Sat/Sun is $30. Solo Entry fee for Sat/Sun is $350. A one day entry is $250. The PBOC Super Solo run group is available.

Convertibles: BMW Z3 with fixed rollover protection, the Z4, and Porsche Boxster and Mini Cooper, are ok. ALL OTHERS must call for approval. No SUV’s in DE.

RACING VENUES:

On Saturday April 26, there will be a 60-minute Race with 25-minute practice and qualifying sessions. On Sunday April 27, there will be two 30- minute Sprint Races with one 20-minute Qualifying session. Cost for Sat/Sun Sprint Races is $400. A one-day Race entry for Saturday is $275. A one-day Race entry for Sunday is $300.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations received more than 14 days prior to the event will be given full refund less a $25 process fee. Cancellations received 7 to 14 days prior to the event will receive 50% credit for a future event. Cancellations within 7 days of event receive no credit. All cancellations must be in writing. PBOC Motorsports and PCA Gold Coast Region reserves the right to refuse any application.
