    No-ESP Mod Installed Today

    I had the afternoon off after getting the car back so I decided to give it a go.

    Following the instructions it took about an hour.

    The only hassles were;
    Digging out the wire harness under the console AC duct.
    Locating the correct wire to cut (as noted in a zillion posts)
    MAKE SURE YOU HAVR A CRIMP TOOL for the butt splices.
    2 of the wires DO NOT attach to the same harness but to the wires up by the ESP switch (took me a while searching and re-re reading the instructions to figure that out)

    These deals are always a challenge the first time through. I re-read the instructions numerious times, double checking as I only wanted to do everything once. If you're not sure pick up a couple of extra butt splices with the crimp tool because if you make a mistake you'll be sitting there with your car tore apart and will have to go buy a couple more to continue (added inspiration to re-read everything again & again...I only had the 3 that came with it).

    Unfortunately it's now rush hour so I may have to wait till late tonight or tomorrow to give it a thumpin'. It passed all the tests before I put everything back so.....this should be fun
