New Hood Soon... maybe

Yesterday, I ordered a hood from Carbon by Design. One difference is that mine will be “inside out”. I asked that the fiberglass portion be on the outside (top), which I will have painted body color. Now the exciting part…. The carbon fiber will be on the underside of the hood!
With that start I’ll buy some complementing carbon fiber under-the-hood items from Carbon by Design. I can’t wait.
The catch, it will be shipped when my motor from The HEMI Shop is shipped. I’m guessing now that will be somewhere during the week of May 21st. But, time will tell.

That sounds great and be sure to post lots of pictures. I have all the ones I took of the fiberglass test hood, but some real carbon fiber would be nice.

That will be my new hood, but I have to wait until my return trip to So. Cal. in October.
