What are the points based on? It was my first time, and I'm in the top 10.

points are based upon "finishing"...If you made it to the next round you got ___ number of points.

Okay. So the more rounds you survive, the more points you get. Now I know to pay attention to the dial in time, so I should hang on a little longer on Saturday.

And everyone needs to realise that this is STILL a WIDE OPEN race for the Championship! Someone near the top of this list might not show up one week, and they dont gain any points...Win the Challenge and you earn 52 points! That can TOTALLY launch you up there toward the top of the standings!!!

This overall Championship is a looong way from "over" !! So lets get out there and race!!

Seriously though it is wide open. With close to 50 years of racing under my belt I can't begin to telll you guys the times I've showed up with a monster setup, great tune, feeling fine and was out on the 1st lap and ... won quite a few where I did everything wrong.....thats racin'.

I'll give it hell but it's still a learning experience for most of us. These last 2 events are the first bracket racing events for me too.
I can't think of anything more enjoyable (well almost lol) than good competition between friends and that's what this series is IMHO.

Is there extra points if you beat the other challenge series winners? Like if AJ beat the Corvette, would he recieve extra points?

It's really cool because we check out each others' timeslips after each race and see what/where/how we could each do better.... Reaction times! but then again...we are also comparing mods!

and realising that some mods really dont add up to much in the real world versus the "stock" cars.

not for the overall Chamionship...but If you mean pointing and laughing at "the other guys" then heck yeah!!! Extra pointing fingers!!! LOL!
