FLXC! thoughts? BBQ, June 2nd at University Dodge.

Okay FLXC...I JUST got a call today from University Dodge. They want to throw a BBQ on Saturday, June 2nd @ 1pm. Here's the copy from an email he sent: (more like notes he was taking while we were on the phone.)

ALL 300’S, MAGNUM’S, CHARGERS RESIDING WITHIN FLORIDA.

WE WOULD ALSO LIKE TO INVITE DODGE CAR AND TRUCK PERFORMANCE/EXOTIC ENTHUSIAST TO JOIN US FOR FOOD-FUN-GAMES AND SHOW.

TECHNICAL ADVICE, AS WELL AS INFORMATION WITH FACTORY ADVISORIES FOR SPECIAL MODIFICATIONS!

PLEASE COME TO SHOW AND LOOK.

We (FLXC) could do a mini-show there! We could have a few trophies awarded to say best 300, best magnum, best charger, etc.. PLUS have ONE Viewers' Choice award! Where customers, and guests could vote on one of our rides to win a BIG award.

This is all coming to mind as I type this up (and from the FLXC board)

Here's some more food for thought. What I'm TRYING to do is this: Get connected with this dealer to do performance mods on our cars and STILL honor any warranty issues. (i.e. 'mod-friendly' dealer) PLUS get connected to do future BBQ's, sales events, etc.

Also, I'm thinking that since we ALL have had some serious smoke issues, that we also may want to be replacing those cabin filters... Possible group-buy?? Thoughts about this??

anyways...he's also pushing our club onto new buyers of cars at the dealership. Excellent way to connect to more LX-freaks like ourselves!

I have long term goals in mind, but I dont wanna screw up anything yet. So I'll hold onto those plans until further notice. (Nothing to do with this particular dealer or event) so stay tuned.

I will be calling him tommorrow to figure out the plan.... So I NEED your input! I know this is short notice but, PLEASE if you have ANY input it is greatly appreciated. I may not make ALL the people happy, but I will do my best!

Sounds GREAT, for those Florida members/potential members that can't come up for the Taylor Park M&G with DT (Dodge Truck Talk) guys in Clearwater on June 02 I think this would be a great idea. I wish I could make it down for it, but have already committed to the Taylor Park meeting.

where are all the 300 owners?!? I see hundreds on the streets, but no where online to find them!! Are they afraid?? or something??

all I know is...Magnums are a rare breed!
