FLXC M&G/Cookout Sept. 20, 2009

Ok talked to Bob(Blkmagnumr/t) and he has found us a nice spot to have a cookout

were having a M&G/cookout for all available FLXC members North, Central and South

this will be held at the Al Lopez Park in Tampa, Fla on September 20th, 2009 from 10a-3pm
as of now it is a potluck meeting( each member brings a dish or something to cook )
if this changes, i will update this post accordingly
This would be a fantastic oppurtunity to hang out with the family, discuss the ideas that have been floating around and to just have a good time
a meeting spot for the Central Group can be the Fridays on Millenia at 8am Leave at 8:30

if one is created for the south or north, i will update this post accordingly
if you wish to bring a dish that will be fine

As for the meeting spot... could we meet instead at the I-4 rest area near the Fantasy of Flight? For me, going to Millenia is a bit longer than to take 417 to I-4. Just a thought!

Thanks for posting it up Matt, I was going to this evening as the the 20th received the most votes for a meeting.

This will be a General Membership meeting for everyone and everyone interested. We will hold a 2nd meeting for those that cannot attend during the Daytona Beach Dream Cruise.

I understand Matt, that is why we will hold multiple meetings this is just going to be the 1st meeting. Its sometimes difficult especially in these economic times to get large groups to travel long distances.

Totally understand Red, I am sure we will see you and Linda before the Dream Cruise. I am going to be working with Russ244 to see if he can get the space again at his place. The Sunday the Dream Cruise ends they have a car show there at the Marina so it would be the perfect location for a afternoon meeting after the show.

Cars & Food... I'm in! I'm close to Tampa already, so I will be waiting at the I-4 & Polk Pkwy.exit at 8:30-8:45. So when I see you guys coming, I will just jump in. No need to stop, I'll catch ya!!!

Really? I thought maybe the club is just breaking up oops pink elephant in the room...

j.m.o. but I see less and less members showing up for events, less posts on the forums, less participation in survey's. If anyone know's about the economy it's my small business, that I struggle with every day, but somehow I can round up 20 bucks for gas to go hang out with other member's. I just think intrest is lacking with some of the members....
