Dei Viper Alarm System With Remote Start For Magnum

My best friend gave my a Viper 791xv Alarm system with Remote Start. WHAT A FRIEND!!! Anyway did have to buy an accessory piece to with it in order for it to work with the Magnum. It is called Peripheral

    http://www.peripheralelectronics.com/

By using this piece you DO NOT need an extra key and don't have to use one of the two you have. The module number you need for the magnum is XK532

Select the make, model, year Then click on xk532 to get more details

They refer to the Skim Module this is located behind the radio on the left. You must take out the Radio.

By using the peripheral you DO NOT have to use any resisters. Just make sure you have some connectors.

This is a pretty intense install if you don't know what you are doing my B/F use to install DEI Alarms so was a bit easier for him but this was a new module that he did not use before.

Hope this helps I could not find anything on here that told where the Skim Module was or what to use.

P.S. I do get the RKE Battery Low warning popping up I have already replaced my batteries. But the Alarms and Valet Start works GREAT!!!!
