Central Chapter - we're calling you out!

Although, *I* personally wont be there for the first Mopar Challenge... ...There is a HUGE amount of talk about the Central Chapter... Some of the quotes:

"....they're all show and no 'go'!"

"...they cry about not being able to race..."

"... wouldn't know where to get 93 octane gas if they had to!"

"... Do they know that there IS a tuner (Predator) for our cars?"..."Think they could figure out how to use it!?!" (followed by an enormous roar of laughter)

Now... I dunno folks.... but the track is ready..the South Chapter is ready... So let's see if you can take off those Mouse ears, or at least fold them back a bit, and make a couple runs down the track!!!

Heck...and when you get knocked-out after the first round of racing you can even go over to the "test-n-tune" and run the rest of the night!

Take a look at the Mopar Challenge schedule....and feel free to let us know when Mickey can come out and play....

TRUE! But where I'm gonna be...will be worth giving up 10 points! Last year we saw 73 billfish in a week!

So let's hear it! We know that DeafCharger is gonna make it down for an event or two! Will he be the sole representative of the Central Chapter!?!?

Yes, kudos to DeafCharger for showing up and running that primo car.
One of the big reasons I can't take car shows seriously is going up to some guy with a blown, everything big block 32 coupe and after saying something like "d**n that thing must be a rush when you get on it" I get some lame *** reply like "gee I dunno never floored it" WHAT!!!!!! (in the '60s we called them no-go showboats)

That Charger goes pretty good too

As a reminder to those Central Chapter people that want to get a Challenge going up there, the Corvette group in Central FL really wants to start up a Challenge Series in Lakeland and have invited the Mopars to start one as well! And up there, they are doing a payout based on the number of tech cards purchased. So far, I have had only a handful of people say they want to do this. If you want more info on this, please PM me your name and email address so I can pass it to the Corvette guys.

Pending my court appearance tomorrow, I might not make the first one, either.

Actually, it depends on if I get a new transmission by the 18th. I destroyed it Saturday night. And then loading it up, I cracked the facia in half, and ripped it off.

I was pulling out of my cousins driveway, and "blam, clunk clunk." It wouldn't even go into park. So, I pushed it a 1/4 mile home. Then loading it up, the ramps were too steep and it cracked the fascia in half. Then unloading it, it ripped the whole thing off. So I have to get a new bumper and everything.

(notice I said pulling, not peeling)
