    Auto Discrimination!

Seen advertised a car show down at the Villages on 466. Advertised as open to all cars & models. I drive up to the cones, to register my car and the guy asked " What are you doing?" I replied I wanted to show my car. He says, "That's no Hot Rod!" I relpied back, oh, then what is it? He said "That's just a plain car with Chrome rims!" I don't know how my car can be considered plain, with all I have done to it! Hell he probably didn't even know what it was. He told me to park in the regular parking with the REGULAR cars, but would let me enter to look at the cars for a small admission! ARE YOU *#$%@ KiDDING ME! Our cars don't get the respect they deserve!

I tried to show my car at a local cruise in last year, the organizer told me I had to have a "classic car". This year, he was begging me to bring it in. I drove by a few times, but didn't stop.

I was supposed to go to that show today but declined because of the rain. Glad I didn't go! What an arse! That's why I usually steer clear of The Villages (even though my folk's live there). Let me guess... the Model A club was there right!

Not sure what all was there, as I left after his smart a$$ remarks! The show did not state HOT RODS, it said open to all CARS! How is a stock '67 Ford, any more a HotRod then my 2006 HEMI Magnum? Oh well, just know not to waste my time going to any other shows down there!

It sounds as though the FLXC needs to show up at one of their shows in force, look around at the cars that showed up, tell them their show sucks then leave.
