Anyone up for Moroso Wednesday 12/5/07

Weather should be very good that night with a cool front coming through tomorrow.

I'm shooting for 12's with my CAI and Predator. Should be a piece of cake since I ran a 13.003 @109 at Moroso on Saturday.

Maybe Mike Stone with let me rent his DRs before he sells them

So postpone the Xmas shopping and lets go have some fun.

This would also be a great time for the newbies to get acquainted with the track before racing starts next year. It also allows you to test different things on your car without concern about eliminations.

I might be in for this..FYI.You can use my DRs and Im closer..I do not have a spare set of shafts for ya though.You would be on your own on that one.

I'll be headed up to the PRI show....if you break into the 12's Wednesday bring the time slip up so I can droll over it..........bastard

I wish it wasn't so damn far away.Actually that is probably a good thing or I might be to often. It is tempting but I got to work early the next day.

I'm not wooried about breaking a halfshaft yet. As you are aware I don't have juice installed YET....hehe

Don't know if I'll be able to bring it to PRI...all depends on how long the frame shop takes....lol

If the gods are willing, I will be there with my new DR's. I'm hoping for a new best. Humidity is a bit high, but the temps should be in the 60's by early evening. Skies will be clear.

Ive never been to Moroso except for the Mopar challenges.. is it set up differently?? how many runs do you think we will get in tonight??

it all depends...i've been there when Moroso had us doing laps litterally. Make a pass then right back to the starting line.

i'm planning on leaving right from work. so i should be there at 6. i should be able to get 10 runs in at least. if your there early u can hot lap.

Were u at the 1st challenge? we entered the starting area from the other side of the track. thats were the dail in lanes are. east side of strip.

No, not really. They normally contain the more experienced racers and not the "kids". Also the lines are shorter which helps the SRT8s to keep cooler. Engine temps seem to effect us more then others.

The dail-in lanes are like like the bracket races. You have times on windows and the tree is staggered.

Sportsman lanes are heads up racing..which can be fun. Beating up on rustbags and eating rice.
