Yes, it's still for sale. I've seen over 21 mpg on the read out before. The average you see there is probably due to sitting at idle to warm up and the two low speed trips around my neighborhood to keep it excersized.

Google Earth says its roughly 504 miles and almost 9 hours.
As for the seat, you could get another seat bottom cover and change it out. I've never done it, but others here have and have said it isn't too hard.
