Would OCTOBER 6.7 be better? Texas Mile - HIGH SPEED RUNS ?

Hey folks, there doesn't seem to be much interest in the March 2007 Texas Mile event. http://www.texasmile.com/

Would October 6 & 7th be a better time or is it just not something you are interested in doing? If I celebrate my 22nd wedding ann this year, it might complicate my attendance some

Their web site has me confused. Even if I want to run as a stock streeter I still need a "mounted fire extinguisher", a helmet and it doesn't matter anyway because my BFG KDW2's are only V-rated so I can't run??? Am I reading this wrong? It still sounds like a nice weekend to go be a spectator but it kinda sux to drive over 300 miles and be forced to "ride the bench" the whole time I'm there. Have y'all been to this before? Am I reading it wrong?

I honestly do not know. I will have my own questions for them as well as time gets closer.

Just checking to see if anyone is planning on this now that it is closer.

I'm thinking about it if I don't have plans made for me. Oct 5th is 22 yrs for the Mrs & me so I'm not sure about that yet.
