Temple Little River/Academy Raceway

While you guys and gals are enjoying your evening at the Tilted Kilt, I just got off the phone with Temple Raceway. They are still open on Fridays for the month of December, was looking into heading out there on 21 December. The track will be open aslong as weather holds up. Looking at the 10 day forecast, "insert laugh" appears to be around 55 degrees and no rain in sight. Well if there is anyone interested, just post here. The cost is $5 a person to get in the gate and $10 per car with unlimited runs. I have been there a couple of times of anyone has any questions. Take care and enjoy your holidays.

I'm gonna say "maybe" on this one. I like the sound of it, but I have to make sure I can fit in the dog house if needed. I've put on a few lbs since I was last in it.

Well if your lucky, BEAST2 mentioned bringing the dually, should fit in the back of that thing, haha.

This will be for the 21st, hope people don't get this mistaken. You guys just got together tonight, most people would be up for a two day turn around. So the 21st is a great day for this, pending weather. Here is the link for the track if anyone is interested. www.templeraceway.com

Where do you want to meet? Just in the parking area near the track about halfway down? I will try to make it if the weather holds.

Looking at the forecast, should be mid 70's, partly cloudy with a low of 55. Conditions should be pretty good for a good night at the drags. Is 7pm to early to meet up or should we meet at 8pm? Let me know, we can just meet at the gas station as soon as you get off I35 and make the right hand turn. Will be standing by for a time decision, 7pm or 8pm. Talk to ya soon.

Ok, gates open at 5pm and they don't start racing until 630pm. Sounds like everyone just wants to meet at the track. So I guess I will try to be at the track around 7-730pm. If anyone doesn't know exactly where it is, let me know and we can meet if you like.
