Just signed up for Thursday April 17th for the ANGLETON, Texas SRT Track Experience.

Arggh! Dang that sounds like fun! I haven't been to MSR yet. Too bad I spent my moddin' money this past weekend on a new/old project.

I keep thinking about going to Laguna Seca or some other place historical place for one of these.

well I signed up for April 18th back in January and even asked if any other Texas would open up later and was told no, now I looked on the SRT site and they have an event later in August at Texas Motor Speedway.

I really didn't want to go on a Friday and the TMS event is a Friday - Sunday schedule so I can do this on a Saturday now.

Anyone know what the capacity is of these events, i.e. how many participants do they limit each date to?

I would not want to be at TMS in August (you'll melt on the track). I went to the SRT track exp. last year at TMS, in February. It was a fun event for what they could offer on the infield of the speedway.

I am really glad this years SRT TE is coming to MSR Houston.

Rob and I hope to see more of our SRT bretheren out at the SRT Track Exp. We are going on Friday April 18th.

It is going to be lots of fun this year. The SRT track exp. is coming to Houston, well angleton, (just outside of Houston). MSR Houston (MotorSportsRanch)

Thanks for the email to the SpaceCityLX club because as soon as I got it, I sigend up and now await the date I am to report for fun and games!!

About 80 people per SRT TE event (each day). They break you up into 4 groups of 20 and you rotate to all the 4 or 5 stations they have set up for you. Giving each group more seat time with only 20 in a group, per station. That is why all of forum members need to try and sign up in one of the 4 groups together, when we go through registration. We did that last year and we had a blast in our own group. There is breakfast before and lunch during, this is truly an all day event. The fun part is at the end when the instructors take you on hot laps (you in the passenger seat) and really show you what these SRT's can do (straight aways, cornering, hard accelerations, hard braking, etc.)
