Houston Magnum Club OR South Texas MAGNUM Club

After seeing DMAG's new thread, thought I'd throw this out.
I think Houston -- 4th largest city in U.S.-- can sustain individual LX clubs (Magnum, 300, Charger) --
no offense to other LX's, but I think there's enough Magnums in a 100 mile radius here to sustain a "Houston Magnum Club"

    Comments?

OR (thinkin' on my feet here)
how bout a SOUTH TEXAS MAGNUM CLUB, that includes: Houston, Beaumont, Austin, College Sation, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, the Valley

I think its awesome -- Freebird and I have been talking about how to harness all the LX's in Houston.... appreciate the magnum focus, but might we join forces ?? thinking to use this summer - sat nites -- at spring cypress - Krogers ( http://www.niftee50ees.com/ ) as an informal way to bring us together,etc...thoughts ?? we could begin to gather peoples ideas about what they might want from a club, community,etc....

That sounds outstanding. I didn't know there was anything like that up there until a buddy mentioned it to a me a few weeks ago. I have yet to go check it out though.

Every Saturday is probably a bit much for most folks, but a concerted effort to make one or two a month should be doable for a lot of us I'd hope.

we started this on 3cf....if the vote goes magnum only.....understood..:-(
seems like people generally want to bring the LX community together in Houston and surrounding areas.....maybe we could start out combined then grow so big to start seperating by vehicle ....?
    http://www.300cforums.com/forums/tex...-car-show.html

not trying to be pushy -- just passionate about bringing this thing together.....got a taste of the community at spring fling-those CA folks can really unite and figured why cant we do that in Houston ???

Well, guys, I'm really OK with the All LX idea -- along the lines of TX SwimDad's idea, why not TX LX CLUB (and have various divisions: Houston, Austin, DFW etc) -- you're right, at some future point if membership is large numbers, a MAGNUM or 300 or CHARGER club could be peeled off and self sustaining.

I don't want to run this thing, but I probably will be part of the herd.

Just because there's a new club doesn't mean it has to have a website.

I`m down with TX LX CLUB then like said , maybe spin-offs for different LXs and divisions.
Every weekend would be out for me but I could attend a few.
Iwas hoping to get a club started here in my town and surrounding ereas but just didn`t know how to go about it.

If it wasn't for the humidity and traffic, I almost wish I lived in the Bayou City.
