    Houston M&G Jan 6&7 / 13&14

Can we see who is interested in a M&G either the first or second weekend in Jan 2007............

    The plan is simple..........

We want an informal M&G on the NW side of Houston to change the heads, cam, adj timing set, headers, and cats on Moparman53's 2005 Magnum.

Even if you've never turned a wrench in your life or you have and just want a closer look on how to do this kind of work, please come out and learn.

While this is time consuming, this isn't that difficult...........the more people we have to get involved, the faster this will go. We plan on everyone getting a chance to take part in this build and having a chance to learn how to work on these cars.

Frank Racing hopes more people will gain confidence in working on their car and start to do as such on their own cars. Nothing on these cars is all that difficult and quite personally I rather work on this than ever touch a LT1 or LS1 Camero ever again!

Moparman53 will be Frank Racing Inc's first Econo Drag Pack customer.........you'll not only learn HOW to do this, but become more informed about what we did and how we do it.

From this M&G, we will make an INSTRUCTIONAL CD that all of our customers will be given FREE!

This is how we will do it:

As we tear apart Moparman53's car, we will take notes and take hi-rez photos. Every step of the way, we take notes and take pictures........

Once done, we will sit at the computer and sub-devide these pictures into chapters (cam install, head install, exhaust install, etc.). These chapters can be read via a CD in a photo-album........

Each picture will have a TEXT BOX so you can read those lovely notes we provided when we took that picture...........

This should provide easy to read pictures with instructions..........step by step for those DIY kinda guys!

We could use your help taking pictures, turning wrenches, taking notes, cooking, or however you can take part in this.................

Please come be apart of the growing Houston-LX-Family................

Thank you from the Frank Racing Inc.

    Hey this sounds like fun.
I think I can offer my hands on the 7th. Unfortunately this is the start of championship season in the swim world so most weekends are booked until spring break.

With me, you'll have a semi-pro photographer with some product & motorsports experience. I'll use digital for you. Previous work has been in several car mags plus the Robb Report. (That was all along time ago) Yes, I can wrench O.K. as well, just not as much of a pro in that area, but I can follow directions...

    Keep me posted....

    Talking

I'm not a bad photographer my damn self. I can even spell it correctly. I have a Sony Digicam and a couple of Nikon digital cameras. Does this mean I won't have to get my hands dirty?

guys.......this is EXACTLY what I'm talking about.

TXSwim........ya, you can have ALOT better than a floor.

Taylor............make what you can make, we'd love to have you.

SRT Bee........ya, we have a grill, or 3

Lemme firm dates, times up with Steve first. I'll have something by tomorrow night.

CAM..........yes, free labor, just not for me.

My hope is when someone gets a big swap like this, he will have contacts and call a few guys up and work together. I know us Mustang guys use to do that all the time. Camero guys do it...............why not us?

Now Lee... Coming from Trans Am's and Camaro's myself, i take insult that you couldn't spell Camaro correctly. I guess i'd expect nothing less coming from a Mustang guy.

    Its funny you say that.

    I spell it like I say it........Ca-mer-o

My wife, being from Long Island would spell this correctly.........Ca-mar-o

As I try and teach my girls to spell, I tell them these silly rules just to see them unravel before my vary eyes..........."I before e.......but only in some words and never before c" WTF?!?!?! Who came up with that?

Then, if a word ends with "e", then the vowel before it says its name (long vowel).......Mice, the "i" is long.....EXCEPT in some words........."some, come, there, are, and others" WTF?!?!?!?!?

Try and teach a kid how to spell and you'll wonder how you ever did!

don't worry about that, I think I was the only charger at the last one, "come one, come all" I believe (i before e there lee) is the motto!! These guys are a lot of fun to be around, if you show you'll have a great time and probably learn something about these cars you didn't already know.
