I got my car out two days ago and began tuning for the 5000 foot in elevation change (trucked from Wyoming). My first stop was to get some good gas and, well it was not so good. Car would knock with less than 1/4 throttle, boost was a NoGo regardless of the tuning. I dumped the fuel and filled back up with some from shell. Now knock is under control again but I’m still looking for good gas or even some high octane race fuel in or around The Woodlands TX. I found a Lambo dealer about 4 blocks from the house that had some but wanted $25 a gallon. I know it can be had for less.
Any ideas?
Closest in the woodlands may be here. Best gas station gas in Houston is usually Shell, Chevron, and Exxon.
