About LinkBacksWouldn't it be cool to have a summer M&G wind up at an old fashioned drive-in and watch a car movie?
I thought of this a while back and tried to find one around Austin for a C2M2 event, but there are none, so I am offering it up to our cousin clubs as an idea.
Here's what I found:
I did find a few operational theaters: Tomball (Hockley) , Ennis, Shiner

Didn't you make it to the Texas ALL MOPAR event benefiting the Tx School for the Blind?

That sounds like a great idea! There is a drive-in at Granbury but that's probably a little far for the Austin folks.

I've seen the one at Ennis a few times (drive by) on my way between Houston and Dallas, it's right off the freeway and they had the neon rocking when I drove by Friday evening. I'll probably be checking out a movie there in the spring, one way or another.

I remember my Mom popping pocorn before heading out with the family to the drive in when I was a kid... Mom and Dad put us kids in the back of the Ford Falcon wagon and backed it into the parking space so we could see great movies, like A Hard Days Night
Now that I think about it though... I wonder what Mom and Dad were watching... the front seat was pointed in the wrong direction...

There is a Drive in Porno Theater near Tyler that is.....
Oh wait, I am only supposed to talk about that on my "other" message board.
BTW I am being serious, it is called the Apache and as high schoolers we would try to see how many we could sneak into the place in the back seats and trunks of cars.
