Texas Motor Speedway is the NASCAR track. Texas Motorplex is the drag strip. It's south of Dallas in Ennis, TX. There are also some 1/8 mile tracks in the suburbs of Dallas/Ft. Worth.

Grinner you are welcome to stop by the shop while you're in Austin. Just give me a call.

Whats going on Grin!
To be dead honest I really want to take look at some shops in the area that work on LX's.
I seen a riced out LX in downtown Dallas tuesday afternoon that sounded mean as hell. Thing had to have headers and some form of catback. It was a red Daytona.
If any one knows some shops shoot me a message.

I'm not sure of anyone in Dallas, but we are only a couple hours south of there, in Austin.

Texas Speedway is in Kennedale just south of Ft. Worth...1/8th mile track...$10 to run all ya want....starts at 6pm on Thursday night.

We have a group of us going there this Sunday afternoon as well, same deal $10 to run...have to wear shirt with sleeves (t-shirts ok). shoes and long pants...come on by Sunday if ya get a chance. Txjeff, Seadoo Sandi, Midoco with his SRT8 and maybe, just maybe we can get ReddFoxx99 out there with his beast-motor ...hope to see ya there.

OK to bring a cooler too...very laid back place.

Believe it or not, finding a shop in the DFW area that specializes in LX cars isn't easy. There's plenty of GM/Mustang shops around, but I've yet to find a "speed shop" that knows jack about our cars. Sorry. If you happen to find one, let me know!

Just run down IH 35 to Round Rock. Take exit 257 or 256 (One map says one thing, the other says different. There has been a lot of construction around the area lately). Take a left at the light, which is Ranch Road 1431, to the west or CR 114 (University Blvd., formerly Chandler Rd,) to the east. Go about .8 of a mile to Sunrise Rd., turn right and go .9 of a mile to Indian Meadows (3rd right) and turn left. Go all the way to the end and keep left. You'll see the sign straight ahead of you.
