Any December M&G's in TEXAS?

Capital City Modern Mopar (C2M2) wants to try to travel during the even numbered months to other clubs M&Gs.

I know SCLX had a Dec 1 M&G that I cannot attend (RRRAaaatts!) but are there any others? There are some C2M2 headed to SCLX.

I'll be in San Antonio on Dec 5th. Is there is anything going on that I can fit in between the swim meet times?

Is it time for another meet in the middle, Texas style in Waco or somewhere? Dare I suggest Aggieland?

Impromtu...well kinda planned ... cruise to Luling for the BBQ ?? that would accomodate SCLX, ACLX, and C2M2...... ?

There is a hot-rod M&G (not LX specific) the evening of every second Saturday in Portland, which is just north of Corpus Christi.

I was thinking of a "Trip around the Bay" kinda thing that could terminate at this meet. Here is a conceptual route/itinerary I just made up. What do you think? Les, I am not a good organizer like you, and we don't have an LX club in the CC area. However, I would be willing to do local legwork to help out. CC normally has decent hotel accommodations available at all times.

This is just an idea, so my feelings will not get hurt either way. You might look at Google Earth to trace the path I am describing below.

Let's see....

1. Arrive in Corpus Christi on Friday, December 7 or Saturday, December 8, at your leisure to shop/tour the area. (USS Lexington, Texas State Aquarium, Seawall, etc)
2. Meet around 2:30pm at Brewster Street Icehouse (near Whataburger Field) for an early dinner/late lunch and socializing. (potential picture opportunity)
3. Leave restaurant between 3:30-4:00pm for "Trip around the Bay" - 70 miles or so.
4. Travel US181/SH35 over Harbor Bridge and Nueces Bay Causeway (a.k.a. the other CC Speedway) to Portland, Gregory, then get on BU35 to Aransas Pass.
5. In Aransas Pass, get on SH81 then get on SH361 to Port Aransas.
6. Travel SH361 over free ferry (potential picture opportunity - look for dolphins!) to Port Aransas then continue to the island and PR22.
7. Travel PR22 over JFK Causeway to Flour Bluff and then Spur 3.
8. Travel Spur 3 (Ennis Joslin Road) to Texas A&M CC turn-off and get on Ocean Drive.
9. Travel Ocean Drive which turns into Shoreline Blvd.
10. Turn onto Peoples Street T-head for a brief photo opportunity.
11. Get back on Shoreline Blvd and travel north to IH37(north).
12. Travel briefly on IH37 and get back on US181/SH35 to Portland.
13. Travel over Harbor Bridge and Nueces Bay Causeway a second time to arrive in Portland for meet at Yummies 50's-style Ice Cream Parlor and Hamburger joint.
14. Meet ends when you get tired of hanging around.
15. Spend the night in Portland or CC if you like, since it will be starting to get late by this time or travel home right away.
