    I will be great seeing old friends again (Sandi and Rob) and meeting lots of new faces as well. It looks like the LX scene in Texas is starting to finally take off again.

    Sandi, do you remember the very first All Texas meet and greet in Austin, summer 06? All of us showed up from other cities and the Austin guy who put it together and never showed up to meet us. We still had fun cruising around Austin, going to the state park and ending up at Lake Travis for Margaritas at sunset. Bo still owned his MagSRT back then and you still had your first Magnum (in Mag Pearl color) and now you have your new (steel blue) MaggieRT with R&T. .

    All Texas (Austin) summer 06.

    Wendy's was the meeting place in Austin, then we toured the city.




    Heck, I still even owned my 300SRT back then. The State park we all went to.

    Hey, that wasn't us! We weren't even born then! Just wait to hear what we are working on for September! No date yet, but just keep that in mind. We even have a hotel connection in place......but that will all be in another thread!

    Here's a thread for the cruise from Austin to the M&G site. Timing could accomodate anyone who leaves DFW, East Tx or even ABILENE early that morning to make it to South Austin by 10 am.

    Yes no LX clubs were formed back in summer 06. It was more like a "hey let's put the faces to our forum names" and meet up somewhere central to Dallas, Austin and Houston LX forum members. We did talk about forming a club back then, but it fizzled out.

    It is really been great to watch each Texas city come online as an LX car club for there local scene. It is even better that all of the city's can get together a few times a year and have an all Texas LX gathering.
