Thanks CV for the candid review. Better go charge that camera battery.

Have owned my share of 12 & 13 second cars, am happy now with my stock RT.
hypertech is known (in the chevy truck world i'm coming out of) for pretty much for just changin the top speed, raising redline, and tire size configuration. To my knowledge it doesn't even adjust air/fuel or any kind of timing issues, even on a GM car/truck which don't have programming issues. I was hoping they would have changed this for the LX'rs. They are at the bottom of my list right now on any vehicle.... hypercrap what?
Wow... I'm a little relieved that the HT didn't pass your SOTP dyno...
I had visions of the big east event turning into a Lynch Random event for getting us all into the Flashpaq. LOL

I used a Hypertech on my '98 Chevy pickup. Very disappointed. Ran in the 91 octane mod with a 160 degree thermostat. Didn't see a performance gain and the fuel economy went into the toilet. Switch thermostats to a 180 and still no luck. Did like the firmer shifts though. I ended up removing the Hypertech program and selling it on Ebay.

Glad I didn't wait for one. What are they asking for one?
Anyone emailed Hypertech and told them about the board?
Maybe they will see things like this and try to compete with SC. Competition is PRETTY MUCH ALWAYS GOOD FOR BUSINESS.

"Oh, You Just have the 5.7" - One of our vendors.

usually hypertech programmers have the ability to adjust the cooling fan tempertures. i don't see that feature here.
Maybe they will... but could you imagine what the upgrades would be like without internet downloads...Originally Posted by jbs123
New version is out let's try it... Okay everyone mail back your tuner... patiently wait 6-8 weeks for turnaround... (yeah right)
We tried contacting them before hand... but they weren't as responsive as SC.
