Got the hemiwagn back last Wed and Token was convinced Zaino was the way to go. Well he could not have been more right!
Last Sunday, Token gave the hemiwagn the ultra-ultra treatment.
It was more than worth the effort -- thank you Token for making my baby look soooooo good.
It was a long day since no step was spared. My garage was built in 1929 and is only 18' x 18' with brick walls and wood roof. We had to turn the car around about six times to get both sides. It was also COLD outside, but we had a kerosene heater and high watt halogen lighting that kept the inside of the garage warm. Plus Tim Horton's coffee, eh!
Pictorial chronicle below: (I usually post smaller pics but these shots need a larger size to do them justice)
Token dusted the car with a California duster an did an initial coat of Z6:
Using the porter cable -- not essential but makes for an excellent job -- besides Token could give classes on how to use this thing...
Here is reflection shot after just one coat:
Special note--you do not use a lot of this stuff. Token puts it on so thin you can hardly see the product but it does haze over. This reflection shot of the roof is BEFORE the 2nd coat of Zaino was buffed off!
Here's another roof reflection shot after 2 coats of Zaino. You can see the wood roof construction of the old garage here.
Photographers know that pictures of flames are hard to capture. Remember that kerosene heater I mentioned? Here's are shot of it reflected on the door panel: I love this shot!
And a short vid of the side after, I think 3? coats.
Some pics of the new hood. Man look at the reflection of the bricks. Incredible!

There are more pics of the afternoon and evening's work to come -- they will blow your mind!! I'll add to this post tomorrow.
