    Where to start???

Girlfriend's bugging me for ideas for a birthday present. It finally dawned on me... between my SRT-8 and her WS-6, we should really start taking care of our cars! I have microfibers, but that's child's play. Where would you guys recommend starting in terms of car-care 'tools'? You know, things that are reusable. I don't want her to buy me polishing compound, but buffer? Washing kit? (like the Mr. Clean thing... anybody actually use one?) good chamois, etc. We have a claybar already, did hers and my car's too new. Sooooo... any suggestions? There's pages and pages of info here, but per usual, opinions seem to be like... well, you know. I'm not looking to take my car to SEMA, but I do want it to look like the $60k it's costing me!

buy the starter kit, has everything you need to make your car look insane. Did it myself, took around 5 hours to finish it all up, never looked better. comes with claybar, all the polishes, scratch removing polishers, all you need is a good USA made towel from Bed Bath and Beyond...white (not colored) and it'll cost you around 20 bucks for one. but it comes out good, beats all those microfiber towels easily

I would definitely agree on the CA duster...it's invaluable for day-to-day dusting making it look like you wash your car everyday.
As for the other stuff?? Definitely not the Mr. Clean "easy clean" spray wash deal. Not quite up to snuff. I use two buckets and two separate mits/brushes for the washing (one for the wheels, fender wells, and exhaust, one for the body of the car).
    Happy early birthday BTW
