Only before coating the quarters with rubber.Doesn't do any good after the fact.

Might help, but then I'm like Hemi31, it's a badge of honor to me, having a nice thick layer or Atlanta Dragway starting line goo stuck to the inner wheel wells and lower fenders.
Makes the rocks just bounce off too...

I'm looking forward to it - which, to get back on subject, is why I'm interested in finding the best way to get the rubber off the fender. I'm thinking a liberal application of Pledge should keep it slippery enough to wipe it off afterwards. I was thinking WD40 also, but not sure what that may do to the paint..... For the racecar we use Mean Green degreaser/cleaner. Find it at our Family Dollar store around here. Armoring the inside plastic pieces might help that come off easier. Works great on the rims and tires too.
