Check out info at Gary Kouba's Perfect Auto Finish. Need to use a cleaner and follow that with a condition about once/quarter to keep the leather in tip top shape.

I use Mother spray on cleaner and pourable conditioner to follow it up. Works great. Whatever you do DON'T Spray the cleaner on all the seats figuring they will (soak) it will actually leave spots that look like bleach stains. They are a bitch to get out.You have spray, wipe, condition wipe, multilpe times in a row. Advice is complete one area spray and condition before moving on.
I had a pen mark on my leather seats...used Mr. Clean Magic Eraser...it works great. Needed to wipe with a damn towel after to remove any residue.
I've been using the Leather Conditioner that came with my detail kit from Adams. I've really happy with it. Cleans really well also.
lexol cleaner and conditioner. the cleaner is ph balanced.
