    Ink pen on leather seats

One of my three little terrorists put some ink pen marks on Mag's leather seats. I have now banned all such weapons in the car in the future but I still want to remove the marks. Any suggestions on how to remove?

    I tried:
    1. magic eraser- got the marks so they are less noticable but they are still there.
    2. Goo gone- started picking up gray (leather die?) on the wipe cloth so I stopped.

    Thanks!

I used some leather cleaning wipes. It took a few times but it did come off. I did it every few days or when I washed the car.

I used "eagle one leather cleaner" on my moms new leather seats to remove black ink. Worked great! Just really have to saturate it and repeat it a couple of times. Good luck!

I had good luck with the exact same product. Got blue ink out of the light beige leather no problem. Just takes a little elbow grease.

Try Hairspray! Works getting ink out of anything. If that does not work you can try the leather cleaner products. Still no luck then check with some leather specialty shops, when I bought my leather sofa they had a specific product for getting ink out of leather.

Ironically, I ended up with the Eagle One stuff before reading your thread and got most of it out. I tried Meguires leather cleaner/conditioner but ended up with shiny leather. I tried the Eagle One stuff, in part, to remove the gloss from Meguires and after some soaking, most of the ink marks are gone. I may try the hairspray thing to get the rest out.
    Thanks.

wow.... okay, at our dealership, we have always used a product called M600 to remove anything from pen marks, grease, crayon, etc.... but very small amounts on a wet rag. I`m not really sure what this stuff is but both the mechanics and the body shop use it for stuff like this and then some....
it worked well for me and then I would just clean up by using a leather treatment after.

if you use hairspray or scrub the hell out of it with a cleaner, you probably want to recondition it.
