How do I clean Seat Belts???
Well, My new R/T has the "Sandstone" interior (vs the dark slate in my old SXT) and since I use it for work
and I'm in and out many times a day... I know these light colored seat belts are going to get pretty dirty.
So what's the prefered way of cleaning them??
The only way I can see is to pull them out as far as they will go and hold them in that position somehow... then soak 'em in a pail of Woolite.

Hey RedRyder...
If you do take them out,(like one of my co-workers have done) put them in a pillow case and tie it like a garbage bag when you use the washing machine and then remove them & hang dry.
At work we usually just shampooed them with our extractor (using a prefessional spot remover) and blow dryed them.
Hope this helps some.

we use a solution of mild detergent and water. scrub the tough spots.

money talks. unfortunately, mine usually says... "good bye!"

Notably, use mild soap and warm water when cleaning spills from the seat belts. Do not use a strong detergent, bleach or dye, since these caustic fluids may weaken the belt's material.
Keep the buckle area clean and dry. Crumbs and other foreign items can gum up the works and prevent your belt from buckling correctly, thereby weakening its ability to hold you firmly in place during a crash.
