yes it is good stuff. The detailer's handbook is an excellent item to get 'schooled' in car care-- and while it talks about Griot's product the concepts apply to any product.

I actually switched from Zaino to Griots. but.... I'm going to switch back (at least test for a while). Token and I both have brilliant black magnums. But while I like the finish on mine (i can post pics if you like) Dave's is even better. Griots does have a good line of all kinds of other stuff for the car though stuff i have not found elsewhere. His fender cover for example is terrific!

Cool ,thanks for responding.I would like to see your pics. Are these pics of you useing Griot's?Do you think i should unstrip my zaino & give it go or wait till i need to polish & wax again?I spent some time doing the zaino & hate to see it go to waste but on the other hand i would like to see the diffrence.

Maybe you could strip off the zaino for say a fender, do that one with griots and compare.

    I love this pic!
I did a similar thing on my Mag. I topped Meg's #21 with P21S did a comparison and realized I wasted $31 on the P21S

I have tried just about them all, you can not beat Griots. I have Zaino guys ask me what I use at shows and cruise-ins.

Last night I clayed the Magnum, applied two coats of Griots Carnuba, and topped it with speed shine. The paint looked like I could dive into it, and this is a car with 79,000mi and 6 NY winters.

    Griots > All.

Griots is good stuff. Been using there porter cable and all there products for a while. Now it's not as easy as an ICE or comething like that, but you get what you pay for in terms of work and finished product, you know what I mean?

I use all Griot's EXCEPT the Best of Show Wax. That stuff looks fantastic, but it can be a muther to work with. I like detailing my cars, but I like a wax that is easy to work with. I went with the NXT2.0 (on both the black car and now the white). Super easy to work with, and I also love the smell (I know, I know!). Otherwise, I really like all of the Griot's cleaners and polishes. Here is a pic across the hood of my BB Challenger after a NXT2.0 application...

Maybe you could try Optimum Opti-seal or Optimum Car Wax, arguable the easiest to use sealant and wax. Or Menzerna Powerlock, Blackfire WetDiamond, or similar sealants that come off effortlessly.

Car looks great with the nxt though!
