    Good question.....

Love the Zaino products, but no vinyls on my car.

PM Zaino guy. He's a distributor, or send an e-mail to Sal Zaino himself at http://www.zainostore.com/Merchant2/...y_Code=Contact

Remember to apply VERY thin or you will be working to remove it.
Just when you think you are applying it light enough - apply less. (effects drying time)

If I had to do my first application again I would not mix a full 2 oz bottle.
(I got 2 coats out of the 2 oz.) I would have done well with 1.5 oz or less for 2 coats - and that is on a Magnum, there has got to be less surface on a Charger.

It will be fine on decals. Always test a small spot first with anything but it's been applied on 1000's of decals. The "flat" might not look so flat so try it somewhere and see if you like the look. Probably will be just a little wetter looking. 99% opticaly pure so you should be seeing just the decal.

Here is another Zaino question since this thread is already going. I used some Z5 today with the new activator stuff and I was incredibly impressed with it. I've never had such a WET and VIBRANT and SMOOTH finish on my magnum with anything I've used.

The thing is, after I finished polishing it all out, I wasn't sure if that worked as a protectant/sealer also, so I went ahead and applied some megs tech wax over top of it. I have to say that the finish actually looked better before putting the tech wax on. However, I live in FL so I didnt want to take chances going around with no paint protectant.

Does the Zaino polish also act as a sealer? Or should you be putting some kind of final product over top of it? It looked so amazing it was kind of a shame to wax over it.

Zaino is a sealer and there is no reason to put anything over it. If you did apply a "wax" product over it then just wash the wax off. The Zaino will still be there until you remove it with an abrasive or you wipe it down with alcohol or a solvent type cleaner. The Zaino will protect alot longer than the "other" stuff will in any environment.

Also the term polish as used by Zaino is somewhat of a misnomer as there aren't any abrasives ie polishing action in any of the products except the Fusion.

The Magnum's got a base-clear finish. Once you're happy with how it looks with the Z5, put on a couple of coats of Z2 and see how it POPS then!

What Token says is sooo correct Its an awesome product. As far how much to use... definately 1 oz will do an ENTIRE Magnum The secret is thin thin thin coats.

Also Sal is GREAT. I have talked with him via emails several times... answered all my questions personally.
