If you go to www.perfectautofinish.com, you will find lots of good info on cleaning your seats and some great product. I use the cleaner and then the conditioner and my leather looks new, and I have the light leather in my C. I do it every two months in the hotter weather, plus it helps to remove the blue dye from my jeans.

May not be for everyone but I used a "Majic Eraser" for spot removal and it was just that - majic. I first tried a leather cleaner which did nothing.

I second this, the "Majic Eraser" is simply the best cleaning tool I have ever used. Also good for cleaning marks on the door kick plates, foot well sills and any mark in the plastic/viynl interior. forget the snake oil.

    spray nine

with a full bottle, cut it 50/50 with water, so that u make 2 full bottles, spray some on a micro fiber towel, dont let it drip or use to much that it runs, and wipe away, i worked for a caddy dealership and thats all they used on the leather, and it will wipe away just about anything..

afterwards a leather conditioner to treat the leather..

    Thank You Haz

I've been using Zymol Leather Cleaner and then follow with the Zymol Conditioner.

After 38K miles and numerous cleanings, the threads on the drivers side are darker than the rest of the car. Wonder what would clean the threads?

I'll probably just spray some bleach and let it sit for a couple of days.

We have white leather in our boat and light grey in the 300c. We use Meguiars leather cleaner and conditioner and they look like new. (you just need velcro to keep your back side in the seat once you've cleaned them tho.)

I'd avoid that, the lye in soap will dry out the leather and leave cracks eventually. It may also break down the stitching.
