    Armor-all on the steering wheel

I had my car cleaned and waxed by a car wash, and while they did a good job on the outside, they did a little "extra" and put armor-all on the steering wheel, and now it's got that rotten sticky feeling.

Up until now, I'd even managed to keep it feeling new - any way to clean the armor all off and restore the "fresh leather" feel?

    Thanks,

    JLW

Ouch!! What sort of moron puts armor all on the steering wheel and doesn't at least use it sparingly and wipe it up? My oh my.. That could have caused an accident.

I say try some windex or interior wipes. If that doesn't work, try a little Goo-Gone..

The Car Wash Bozos that's who!! Wash your own OR have a detailer come to your house. Those mechanized Scratch houses will never see my ride.

Any kind of pre-moisted toilette (Wet Ones) works well, but you've got to put a conditioner after that. Armorall is not a conditioner, it's liquid Crisco in a fancy bottle. Remember that almost all cleaners have an alcohol base and will Dry Out leather. Also remember that leather is a "skin" and like all "skins" they need conditioners to avoid cracking.

SO LET IT BE WRITTEN.....SO LET IT BE DONE!!!!!
