It apparently clips onto the bottom of the bumper like so.
It would look sharp with your concept LED strip.
Would much prefer this, and remove the LED halo's I had so much trouble with.
I would be interrested as well, long as it can be made to fit a ctsv![]()

The guy who made these out of garage isn't doing so anymore (or not answering back anyways.)
The plastic part in post #1 is that the factory piece that goes into that location?
Its hard to tell in the photo.

See thats why I like these, because you think theyre a factory peice.
But no they are not, they are (were) made by an individual in his garage in germany (from what I'm told.)
They are made this way to click into the part in the bumper.
I would be unlikely that the part itself was made in an individuals home garage because it is an injection moulded piece which requires several pieces of large machinery to make. It was likely a part for a different purpose that was modified to fit in that location. It is interesting but hard for us to say if we could build something similar without seeing it in person.
Are you still interested in mounting the concept LED strip like we discussed before? I now have a lower profile casing for the strip which may work out pretty well for you![]()
Hell if you guys could duplicate it, I am sure I could talk sodak into sending the lights to you! He wants a second set just in case anyways.
And I know there are a bunch of people that would be interested in these for our cars!
I would be interested in mounting your concept LED's int he same location these are mounted. If you guys could make something that fits the contour like this one does!
dude... you can make this by your self it would be easy...
Im gonna try making one and i will post the out come of it when im done..
all you need realy is a high output LED strip with the self adhesive on the back and slap it on.. if you can find an LED strip with the side facing one then your all good to go..
My suggestion would not be a overlay like the one you pictured but the concept LED strip in an clear case applied directly to the bumper.
The OP is looking for something that does not look like strip LED stuck to the bumper, our LED concept strip is an example of a high-powered strip where you do not see the individual LEDs.

Just wondering if you got my PM?
Yes, tried to reply but your inbox is full.
Basically my reply was that we like the idea but would need a test vehicle from someone who is willing to have their car down for several days for us to do design and testing. The injection mould would take 2-3 months to produce after that and we would need to do a minimum run of 5000 pcs so we would need a substantial amount of pre-sold units.
Hm. Weird my inbox wasn't full. *shrug*
I like that you guys like the idea.
I'm not sure that I could get that many units sold, but I'm sure once the option was out there they would go.
It's good to have more options, and something that would look like it's tailor made for our cars instead of just a bought off of ebay and hope it works would be a good option.
All I can say is I tried, and if you guys do find the time, and feel it could be a good seller then count me as your first customer for the product.
When I try to PM you this is what I get:
The following errors occurred with your submission

Not to sure what`s going on, but try again.
I deleted a whole bunch of stuff but was never over the limit.
Thanks.
I would buy. That's already two units sold!
