Basically, when you drop it, you give up your warranty on not only the components you install, but possibly follow on problems. The suspension will most likely void your driveline and suspension warranties. When I lifted my ram no dealership would touch it under warranty. If I had a problem with the lift kit or anything (gears, etc) it had to be taken care of by the installers of the component in question. And their warranty was usually 90 days. After that, it's on your nickel.
The ross act covers the remainder of your vehicle even though you add aftermarket things, unless the dealership can prove it caused the problem that you are claiming for warranty work. i.e. you're trying to claim drive shaft failure, and they can prove it was caused by the changed pinion angle due to the drop = you're S.O.L. You try to claim a broken window motor, they can't say that your drop kit caused the problem, and must cover it.
