When will we see them at dealerships?

    I keep forgetting. I'm thinking it's early '08.

Sometime around April it seems, and it will be SRT versions only at first.

But honestly, it'll be like a Shelby... they'll be there, but you'll not see one for a very, very long time in the flesh.

    FWIH,
Technically, the Challengers are NOT LYs... they are LCs... a modified LX.

I think the LYs will replace all LX/Y/Cs for the 2010 model year.

I want a Challenger pretty bad, but I am not buying one if it isn't offered with the 6.4 power plant. Otherwise, it won't be enough of an upgrade. I guess I might consider it much later, once the Mag warranty expires.

I was reading an old (1+ year) issue of Motor Trend. It said that there will be a new 300 in 2009? And I read 2010 also.

Now my question is, that can't be? Why? Magnum and 300 was just updated. And the Challenger will come out in 09. So is the Challenger suppose to be a "1 year car?" And even the refresh Magnum and 300. That's really great if the product life cycle is that short.

I'm going to bet that we won have a new LX-Y-C until 2012+. What do you think?
Without Yip Man, there's no Bruce Lee.

That may be, but the switch to LY in the supply chain may already be happening. These will be built on the same FLEX platform, so, once suppliers are making LY parts (many of which will not change from LX) then production of LX -should- seamlessly move to the LYs.

Anyway, that's what FLEX was all about... Right now, Brampton has 6 models going down the SAME assembly line: 300, 300extended, 300Touring, Magnum, Charger and a few Challenger mules (apparently)

This info comes from my years of lurking on allpar.com... There are a FEW insiders there.
