Same here, I dont know if there will be much of any changes to anything. I expect that less will be built and these cars will be rare in showrooms.

I ordered my Challenger R/T first week March, I was told today when it will be built it will be a 2010 That puts it around August time frame.

actually, what i want to see is what the ESH is. i know it's a new varient of the 6.1, but still.

star parts also still shows the 3.5 for the 2001 caravan as well. we know that didnt happen to the masses.

I wouldn't read into it to much, there are multiple 5.7s on the list for some specific reason that I don't know. There are two currently available. One with MDS (auto) and one without (6 speed). The third is MDS and may be part of a different option package. I know they changed the engine code for the 5.7 part way thru 09 so there are more than two for 09 also.

Information for Brampton Assembly Plant Chrysler Workers
Brampton Assembly Plant Plan of Record:
The Brampton Assembly Plant is scheduled to return to work June 29, 2009 to resume production for 4 days (Monday – Thursday) Friday is a Holiday.
The Following week July 6th we will return to layoff as a result of parts shortages.
The weeks of July 13th and 20th remain scheduled plant shutdown (Vacation ).
We are then scheduled to return to work July 27, 2009 for two weeks to finish build out of 2009 model year.
The week of August 10, 2009 we will return to layoff for “sales adjustment.”
On August 17, 2009 we will return to work to begin 2010 model launch.
Updated plant schedule has one additional week of lay off in September, October and two weeks in November.
It is important to note that the above Plan of Record is always subject to change!



Dealers are taking orders now. I have a VON for our 2010 Charger SRT.

Sorry guys but as of now the 6.4 is just heresay. And with the 'new' Chrysler and government regulations, its doubtful that it will ever see the light of day.
