    I'm sick of trying to make you understand that GM and Ford do not release there PCM code. They do encrypt it.

    I lived in Detroit for 30 years. I have family that work for GM, Ford and Chrysler, so what the hell do I know about the auto industry? PM me if you'd like to talk about it on the phone and I'll give you my number.

    I will shoot my tuner a email and find out it he is tuning any 2011 CTS-V's. If I'm not mistaken right before I came to work in Trinidad, he told me he had a 2012 Camaro SS convertible coming in to get tuned.

    Diablo isn't the only ones that offer tuning software! RPM MotorSports-Garner, NC has been tuning GM vehicles for the past 7 years. He just became a CMR dealer for Diablo about 2 weeks ago and this is because he is starting to get more Chrysler customers. If I'm not mistaken Chrysler owners are Diablo's largest customer base.

    I didn't write the SS. I said Camero ZL1 or 2011 CTS-V. It's really easy for Diablo to add these to the Trinity. If GM is so open on there code, why isn't Diablo listing them?

    I've sent him a email and asked him, hopefully I will hear back from him this morning.

    Why is every one acting like Diablo are the only company that offers tuning software! Most GM tuners I've seen use HP tuning software on their laptops and connect directly to the cars PCM. They don't use hand held tuners.

    OK everybody knows you don't use Diablo stuff for GM everyone uses EFI or HP

    We are not arguing the fact that Ford and GM don't encrypt their PCM's. We are arguing the fact that Chrysler ups and changes theirs when GM hasn't changed theirs that I know of. I will as soon as I hear from RPM. Just because Diablo doesn't have the tuning software for the 2011 CTS-V or 2012 Camaro ZL1 doesn't mean that HP Tuners doesn't! Thats all I am trying to point out.

    Do you think it would be business wise for HP Tuners to give out their software to Diablo? As I said, I could be wrong about GM and the 2011 CTS-V and the Camaro ZL1. But I have with my own eyes seen a 2010 CTS-V and a 2011 Camaro SS tuned by HP Tuners software. As I said also, I can't see GM paying for a different encryption on a 2011 Camaro SS and a 2011 CTS-V.

    Read this, the Chrysler PCM uses the MPC 5554 Chip....4 years before GM.................. see GM's catching up

    Just to throw this out there: 5.0 tuning was happening immediately, but the results have been catastrophic for more than a few. It's not like the aftermarket is given "the key" by Ford. I know CVP33 was saying he didn't want to go through the "dark ages" where motors were blown trying to figure out this issue....well, it's no different for the Coyote(5.0) motor or the ecoboost.

    As of 2 months ago Ford had almost 30 confirmed cases of the number 8 cylinder going in the 5.0. These were from around the country, tuned by multiple respected tuners, and these are only the motors they were brought(certainly the real number is higher). Ecoboosts are having an issues as well. Dealers were recently issued memos stating that if ANY tampering above stock is done to either of these motors, the warranty will be immediately voided. Obviously more than a few of you don't care about the warranty, I'm just throwing it out there that the guys with giant paperweight Mustangs wouldn't agree that Ford makes the tuning "easy".
