Looks like they "rammed" the RAM truck front end into it and trying too hard to keep the Dodge front cross hair grill I think. I am sure this is not the final production though.......too early.

I really like the aggressive front end. The sides don't sweep enough to the front for my tastes. But I can appreciate where they're coming from. The rear end? OMFG! It's disgusting!!!

Those renderings have been around for a loooong time.

Im willing to wager a large amount of money that the car looks almost nothing like the "changes" you see in those pictures.

OMG, that is the most horrible looking front clip they could put on that car. i hope this rendering never makes it to production.

they need to slap themselves in the face a few times and realize that they have a good thing and it just needs to be tweaked not totally reconstructed.
am kind of liking the hood though although maybe not so defined.
seems with some finess that could be a nice looking hood like the 08 maggies have.

It says right on the picture that it is a rendering based on rumour and reasoned analysis. This is NOT an official picture from Chrysler or anyone from within the company. So you should not "wood" or get you panties in a twist over this junk.

I normal don't quote myself but here is an excerpt from my post on the Chrysler design survey I went to almost two years ago. I've bold italicized the design elements I saw there that have carried over to this render.

Just got back from an automotive research survey for 2009/2010 Charger

The body line created by the "hips" in the back now carry all the way forward to the hinge side of the front door. Imagine if you took our "hip" and flattened out the first 1/4 (where it dives into the rear door) and pulled it all the way to about 1/4 down the from where the window starts on the front door.

The front end is a good progression but needs some work in my opinion. The scowl or frown created by the '06-'08/'09 is further exaggerated. The hood bulges up a little more and the interior top corner of the headlamps go a little further down with the outer edges remaining up higher.

The grille/bumper need work. The grille has been pulled out further so that it sits in the same plane created by the bumper. The grille (propportion wise) looks like the 2009 Ram grile. Narrow up top and noticeably wider at the bottom. The "nose" reminded me a bit of some of the some of the volvo "noses" i've seen but with a larger grille.

They must be watching MoPower's work because the fender scallops he is currently working on are on this car.

The rear end has a little bit of MoPower in it too. They have pulled the rear decklid and quarter panels back so that they create a lip over the rear taillamps. Kinda like the viper currently is. The tail lamps are much smaller looked to be LED and had a plastic "blackout piece that went across the back of the trunk.

It also looks like they didn't add much (if any glass) to the "greenhouse" as was speculated by a recent thread.

This car sucked no way should Dodge build it, and I reamed it in the survey. That's all I'm gonna say about it.

#3 (charger/challenger bastard child

This car was pretty cool. It had a front clip similar to the Challenger (dare I say Camaro-ish). Scallops in the hood much the '08 Magnum. Large body scallops in the sheet metal. Sorta '99 Concept Charger-ish. Full width tail lamps kinda like the concept Challenger.

As you can see a lot of the design elements that I saw have been put into this photoshop. It looks like #1 design I saw has just gone through more design iterations.

I'm willing to bet that what is unveiled is very similar to this. Gotta remember though this is just a good photoshop on top of a '06 Charger. There is no way it will be able to capture miniscule proportional tweaks that can have a HUGE impact on the way a vehicle (or anything for that matter) looks.
