Could there be a Cuda in the future?

Am I the only one that sees a possible cuda being made off the challenger with only minor cosmetic changes? Yah I know the cuda was plymouth, but I don't think dodge will really care about that. So what do you guys think? Am I nuts or do you think that 2 years after the release of the challenger dodge will change the looks alittle and release a cuda?

Since you got me thinking about option packages now, another thought I had is A challenger T/A package, big motor, pistol grip, exhaust exits in front of the rear tire, ect.

well, first there needs to be Plymouth (not really), but I would like that, that way more people can enjoy the limited edition Challenger except there would be more with a different badge.

That's why I've decided to wait until 2010-11 in hopes of one.

Yes, make it a one-off Plymouth to make a real 'Cuda and not a Chrysler Cuda. That's just not the same thing.

They could make them on the same line if the changes were basically cosmetic stuff like lights, grille,Etc. I can't seeing them doing it when the brand has been put to rest though??

I think it should also be a plymouth but if it will make them more money I think they will name it a dodge cuda With out a second thought to the history of the car.

Lets think of it this way....

Event 1: Challenger gets unveiled Feb 2008, hits showrooms late 2008
Event 2: Camaro gets unveiled early 2009, hits showrooms late 2009
Event 3: Camaro Conv hits showrooms early 2010
Event 4: Hints of New Mustang to debut @ 2010
    Event 5: Cuda 2010-2011

    Could work

would be nice if there was event 2.5: Cuda 2009, and event 5: Cuda Conv....but I think with everything else going on...introducing a new model 2010 is more likely.

We're building a 71 Cuda re-creation. Its not intended to be a complete copy of what a 71 Cuda would look like today.. more our take on what a custom 71 Cuda would look like.

We'll be releasing an official illustration 10/31/07 (sema). The photoshop images we have up now were very early ideas of the concept. They are missing the 71 Cuda Grill, 71 Fenders, and Shaker hood.

You can see our project at www.hxcperformance.com We also have a myspace page of the same name. You can also look for our name on this site as a supporting vendor in the very near future.
