Just ordered my 160tstat and picking it up in the morning. looks like 40-48 degrees to run tomorrow evening. I'll be there when the gates open, get some early good track conditions runs. I always seem to get better traction early.

Look forward to seeing what the nice weather brings. Just an FYI... I actually saw a loss of power @ 160 deg engine temp vice 190.

Nice times given the mods. What sort of 60' times are you pulling?

i have the 180 on now...and have run the car at 170 (cooling down). We'll see...I'll take the 180 and a socket set just in case.

13.7s and 13.8s have had 2.02-2.05 60's.

I spint them VERY briefly, just to clean the tires. PSI down between 24-28lbs. Launch almost dead on at 1,500rpm.

Yeah...should be good weather for good numbers. I'll post back. Just got a new scanner so I can even post slips for a change....although they are usually a b@#$h to read....:grin:

yea the car should be about 150/160 when you stage, I lost power as well being too cold.

hmmmm, crap....didn't count on that.

Just put the Milidon 64501 160 degree tstat in, but cleaned the 180 and put it in the console incase I need to make a mid evening swap. I expect to be able to get pretty rapid passes tonight, so hopefully it stays warm enough, and yet not TOO warm.

Grabbing some stuff and headed down in an hour or so. Plan on being there early - gate opening, so I can change tire pressures and grab a bite to eat.

ps just did the math looking at -1500 ft now at 60* DP 37* Baro 31.57 with a track altitude of 80ft

Looking to be a good night, low winds which means the igh Pressure is going to sit for a bit

Damn nice runs Rob, I am really digging that 60'. Man our cars are close..... it would be a great race. PaCharger did you run at all? How did the lower stat work out for you?

GOT 7 runs in....two 13.78's, a couple 13.8xx's, two 13.9's and a 14.0. Some of the slower runs were hotlapped runs with esp ON, or the heater running full blast or something else stupid. Got some better experience at launching higher, close to 2000 rpms.

Might run to Maple Grove tomorrow. They have a day session, 10am to 4pm and I have decided to take the day off :grin:
