Pressed out by SWAT in pg county

Today was an interesting day. I decided to go out today cruise around joy ride, so my car keeps surging and jumping and acting like its going to cut off. So i pull into a shopping center and illegally park on the back side where know one else parks just a bunch of drivers who illegally avoides speed humps and cuts across the parking lot across cars and parking spaces. so im sitting listening to my music and i decide to whip the diablo out and reset some paramaters for my tune. I sit there for like 45 mintues and i see an all black dodge caravan and a gmc acadia pull up following each other so im thinking wtf are they doing because they parked on the backside of the parking lot behind the Giant food store.

Next comes an nissan altima....soon after that, I see a caucasian male get out the van and pull a guy from out the back seat of the van... I notice the guy had a pg uniform on and i see a tall darkskin guy get out of this truck "the acadia" and chips in on the frisk.....now ive never in my life seen police transport criminals to hiden spots just to frisk...so they frisk some guy he looked middle eastern and i saw em throw what im guessing drugs on the hood of the altima which was an undercover cop car, and i also see a black bag being thrown in the dumpster they were near....who knows....

anyway so im sitting and watching, knowing im illegally parked but wth my car shut off when i came to a stop, plus it started raining and i decided to just chill until things settled down... so they press the dude out for about 20 mins i whip the camera phone out and start talking pictures because i found it quite interesting... so they lock the drug dealer up "im assuming thats what he was" and take em away in the altima..

what seemed so interesting is, they took dude to the rear of a store on a secretive tip... so they pack up and leave....the dodge caravan comes my way and the cops look at me looking at them.. so they roll on pass and i see the acadia still sitting in the back while im looking at the acadia, the van rolls up behind me and i look in the rearview...next thing i know they hop out with the tactics weapons rushing at my car...

I laugh and shake my head as i hear the cops say put you hands on the steering wheel. while i did that the cop tries to open the door, the door is locked so he gets hostile and says UNLOCK THE DOOR NOW!!!! so i did what he said, he said GIVE ME THE CAR KEYS!!!! AND USE YOUR RIGHT HAND AND HIT THE BUCKLE LATCH AND GET OUT THE CAR!!!!!!!

Now me, Im african american No racism wasnt the issue but i have a sort of anger problem and when people shout at me i tend to shout back i dont care who u are. So one of the cops makes me put my hands on my head and i ask them WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT!!!! I KNOW MY RIGHTS.... Rule number one i forgot, its automatic suspicion when sitting on private property or anywhere else if it isnt your home drive way. So the cop ask me if i have anything on me any weapons drugs etc etc... i said no....

so hear i am being pressed out in the back parking lot tones of people in there business windows looking at me being pressed out...so the cops searches me for like 2 mins...So the guy in the acadia comes in and decides to talk to me....telling me they are frisking me because of narcotic investigations. I absolutly hate being talked to like im a child so im hostile right back towards the cops. so the lieutenant decides to lecture me, asking me we im so hostile so i look away and start talking so he says LOOK AT ME!!! TALK TO ME MAN TO MAN!! and i said see look at how u talk to me... i said this is why im so hostile towards police because of the way you talk to people and because of this.. i point at my surroundings and at all the businesses at all the ppl looking, i said this is why im so hostile because im always being pressed out by pg cops all for nothing...

and yea i know i was parked illegally but so what wtf cares about that, pg cops are known to be racist so i have every single reason not to like them, i only respect cops that respect me in a nice professional way, cops who arent overly aggressive about nonsense... yes criminals are dam dumb but got dam, i sat and watched these fools frisk a criminal and take them away, i guess they thought i was another dumb criminal....everybody is dumb in there eyes...

so anyway i tell the lt it would be very stupid of me to sit here and watch u frisk someone and just sit here thinking i wont be frisked if i was to have drugs or a gun on me. and he said well criminals are stupid....so i told em i went to school for criminal justice and that i wanted to be a cop as well....and he lectures me about my attitude..
and i tell em, my attitude has nothing to do with being a professional cop, i am a citizen there is a difference, yes i went to school but that doesnt mean a thing because school is only half the experience thats why they go to academy, there is a big diffrence between professional work and school, because school only has experienced professional teachers who went thru being cops telling stories as to what they see and what they know about the law, they cant tell u every single thing about the law because of when they become officers and if any of the laws they know about exist anymore....

so anyway the lt tells me i wont make it with my attitude, and i just gave up...arguing with a cop is like arguing with a blind deaf person, citizens have no points to prove when arguing with officers.... so he askes me why i want to be a cop i tell em because i like the work they do... mind u i am interested in being a U.S capitol police officer, so lt told me i will never make it with my tude and that he would see to it that i would never be hired by any police agency.. i said what good is it to you, he said to keep ppl like me off the force.

so with that being said he has no point in his statement, because pg police are known for police brutality and other issues but i didnt stress that to him and i for dam sure didnt let him discourage me all because he knew ppl.... so after talking a whole bunch of non sense he tried to make me out as a snitch asking if i knew the guy that the arrested and i asked him why would he ask me that, and then he asked me if i knew of any shooting killings, of any drug dealers or drug houses....i told em no and even if i did no what makes u think things are going to be ok, because if it aint one problem its another....so after talkin to this professional he wished me good luck on the career search and i was given 2 parking tickets $20 bucks each, and a repair order for my exhaust, tints which are a legal 35% and my illegally tinted taillights...

lol so as i gather my things from off my ride one of the cops said HEY I know someone that works for capitol police and ill put a word in for you I looked at em and get in the car, then i heard em say we'lll see who gets the last laugh..... and that we will see

sorry about them giving you a hard time. respect is earned,it doesnt come automatically with a uniform, good for you to stand your ground. if an officer is respectful than he will always get it returned from me

Sorry to hear about yuor experience, but you must have known that they would check you out. After all you were checking them out.
I agree though, no need to disrespect and be hostile towards you and all for what? Illegal parking in a vacant non thruway area?

damn dude..thats focked up....but do you realize what you could have wittness....from the looks of the pics and what you described I would remove the pics from the forums and take it up in person with the local pd. What you saw happens all day long in the city. and its WRONG.

actually man i didnt no a thing i was just sitting there mindin my own dam business and here they come no police lights no nothing they came from a different area of that part of town to that location i was just sitting waiting for the weather to clear up so i can get my car right not only that they didnt even have a county cop or town cop on site while they were friskin the dude they had to radio a county cop in to give me the tickets, and he told me that air fresheners were illegal and that my air/fuel gauge was illegal to because i had it tapped to my dash board.... i showed my teachers and told about the ordeal so ill just wait and see what they say because they too were cops.... i just dont understand how u can just sit and frisk any and everybody that looks suspious i mean got dam at least warn a brother to move on...ill never understand until i make it to the academy

Find a different PD to apply for, Cap PD is run by Terry Gainer, former Director of the Illinois State Police. He had no respect for citizen's rights here in Illinois, often testifying for more restrictive firearm regulations, and I'm sure he is no better in DC.

You're also right... Don't ever think that what you learn in the academy is what you use on the street, because it isn't. The academy gives you the basics, but only real life patrol experience is what is gonna dictate how you are as a cop.

i feel your pain i lived in Maryland/PG for awhile before i moved to Virginia. I clearly remeber 3 years ago taking my mom to work during the aftrnoon, im on walker mill rd, then all of a sudden i see a unmarked poilce car get behing me for 5 mins. So he follows me, then decides he is going to pull me over, so i pull to the side of the road, then 2 other cars box me in so i cant move. So they all are PG police, they hope out the car, asking me all these questions and still dont tell me whey im getting pulled over. So it's like 6 policemen all surrounding and standing around my car. so one of the policemen tells me he is pulling me over for tint. So i say all of this, you have all these unmarked police cars boxing me in like i just robbed a bank all because you think my tint is illegal? So he started explaning the tint laws, so im like yeah yeah, i already know the laws 35% is legaL in Maryland. So i tell him my tint is 35%, but since i my cadillac came with the tinted factory glass the tint come up to like 32%/33% on the glass. So he looks at me and says, if im lying he is taking my car rite now. Now keep in mind my mom is sitting rite next to me, she is late for work now because theese fools are pressing me out for some tint, and i feel really bad getting talked too the way is is talking to me in front of mom. So a few mins later he slides the tint meter over my window, and guess what? My tint reads 33% like i told him. So instead of saying sorry or at least a my bad, they all get back in their cars and drive off like nothing happened.

Don't get me wrong you have alot of good cops, however PG, MO county, and DC has alot of bad cops that pull people over and try to muscle and belittle them. I can go on and on about getting pulled over in PG and DC, and i don't have a record, never been arrested. Don't let you be young, black. and have a nice car, your almost beggin to get pulled over. I already know how the games goes, when they do pull us over, it has nothing to do with tint, or any traffic volations. Their looking to get the touchdown, a score, that big drug bust. I can go on and on about this, but one thing i learned about Virginia/FairFax county police is, it appears it's not about age, creed or color when they oull you over. It's about writing as many tickets as possible and making money for the county. Well anyway, i'm out!!!!!!!!!

like i said in the story i took pictures because it was intereting, to me at least, dont really care if anyone else wouldnt have taken pictures but this is me, where i live u have racist cops nasty mad cops, police brutality and u have cops that show up when u dont need em but when u need em they are never around, i on the other hand turned into the parkin lot because my ride wasnt actin right, only reason i was there in the first place was because i had to retune my ride so it would act right, i wouldve left right after i did that but it started raining, so i decided to wait to the rain cleared out i had no choice but to park illegally because the dam car cut off when i stopped, and im not payin these tickets im requestin a court date.....

he really was nitpicking, because he said having air freshers hanging from the rearview mirror was illegal also having a gauge on the dashboard....he also lied and side the tints were illegal only thing that was really wrong were my tinted taillights which not all cops really care about...they just gave me a hard time because i stood up for myself

Okay so you just stated that there are racist nasty mad cops where you reside, and these are the cops that you want to take pictures of?? LOL. Again, I understand WHY you were there, but do you understand why they came up on you? Oh and FYI, ANYTHING hanging from your rearview mirror is a summonsable offense, because it is obstructing your view of the road.
