One last thread...Maple Grove

Okay, so I post a bit over here...never seem to get much response, but thought I'd try one last shot.

Okay, time to get the list of who will be there....

I may go to Cecil on Wednesday night, testing the waters with wifey tonight...

Maple is outside Reading, close to the T-pike, a TOP NOTCH venue. The NHRA Fall nationals were just there. It's clean, classy and pretty fast...not cecil fast...but pretty fast.

What day(s) are you going up? I don't live to far from Maple Grove, I would go and run the mighty (don't laugh) 2.7l. It has to be faster than my 95 Escort LX was (17.9).

BT, I'm planning on going up Friday. I talked to them today and it is actually a 10-4 test and tune on a WEEKDAY....so....I'm taking the day off and running. :grin:

Damn it, I work on Friday too, however we are already working butt loads of overtime so I cannot get the day off.

^^bump.......so here we are finally, chores done, with one minor exception, still might get up early and rotate wheels...the backs are getting thinner.

Heading up to Maple around 8:45ish...get there around 9:15am.
Gate open at 9am. $25. 10-4 get all the runs in you can.

I'll run a few early since I think...hope the DA will be around -500 to - 650 while the temps are low. ...MAN I WANT A 13.6xx

Then I plan on checking out a ton of cars, watching some races, having a really crappy track hot dog and running a few more times.

Anyone up for a day of Racing, Cars, waiting for the rain to come?

They are calling for late afternoon....local weather guy just said 5-6pm....so we should be good.
